"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking.
This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...

"Social Hub was awesome. Very quirky and friendly. Loved the industrial decor. Staff members all superb. Maybe best suited to guests travelling light! We had a rental car and larger suitcases, and getting somewhere close to unload car was an issue. Would stay again."
"Im mot sure why hotels in the uk dont provide wash cloths in the bathroom. I guess im just used to hamptons in the states. This one had no fridge, no complimentary water, no ice machine. We were told our room was upgraded to a handicapped accessible room. Lol. Not sure if thats an upgrade, but thats what we got. Breakfast was always good. And the bar was a nice touch. Wpuld recommend. "
