"This is a lovely old tavern with comfortable accommodation. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful, and it is in a great location. There are plenty of references to the White Star Line, in particular the Titanic, which was very interesting. The food was nice, especially breakfast, and there was even a pub quiz on our second night which we really enjoyed. We stayed here for three nights before joining a cruise. "Room was very comfortable and clean, a good size too. I noted other reviews had mentioned road noise but had windows shut as A/C was efficient and had a good nights sleep. TV wasn’t great after 9:00? Not sure if number of people watching in other rooms effected it as I presume it is ‘streamed’. Ate supper in pub which was excellent as was breakfast next morning. Would stay again."

"Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's.
