Gay friendly Hotels in Basel City Centre

"We only stayed one night at this comfortable hotel in beautiful Basel. Breakfast good, beds excellent and shower just the job. Staff very helpful in retrieving lost insulin. We’ll be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Art House Basel for the most part. The staff went above and beyond with restaurant recommendations and were incredibly helpful with getting our delayed luggage delivered 15 minutes before our River cruise departed (two full days after we arrived in Basel!). The location was perfect for sightseeing and art museums. My criticisms: The room lighting, especially near the vanity, was terrible. It created dark shadows and made it difficult to put makeup on. The pocket door...

"No air conditioning just a stand fan however it is so clean, neat and welcoming staff. Great location."

"Exceeded our expectations - great for us having communal space as we ere a big family group. Breakfast excellent!"

"Everything was really good."

"Good location and comfortable room but no kettle, iron, dryer etc."

"Amazing stay"

"Staff were super friendly and helpful."

"Not my first stay here. Usually when driving back from Italy to NL, this is a good place to stop. Also the next door restaurants are no nonsense and 👍"

"Had a great time. This is my paternal grandfather's hometown. Great location, helpful staff. You need new pool cues! The tops are all broken. Had a great time. The old city was magical!"

"Friendly staff and very clean"

"Small village but close to several restaurants that was great"

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. As was the bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was excellent too and provided lovely well cooked food both dinner and breakfast. The only downside would be the internet connection. It was not very stable in my room and would randomly and often disconnect. I did report it to reception. This did not detract from an excellent hotel though. I would stay here again."

"Room was compact and clean. Staff were extremely helpful for a traveller."
