"Very nice modern hotel. Good amenities. Our room was upgraded - it was a good sized room. With Swiss focus on environment, the temperature control in the room is governed. We stayed in early September during a heat wave and the room was far too hot for sleep. Fortunately staff provided us with an electric fan to make it bearable. "Nice hotel near many shopping / restaurants in the main area near the river. Easy walk to get there. Rooms are updated and comfortable however they use good old fashion keys for the door locks - be sure to use it to lock your door when inside, door doesn’t automatically lock. We were in room 203 and the sewer odor smell was absolutely terrible. My sister was on 407 and had no odor detectable in her room. Other than the odor we would stay here again. "

"Conveniently located directly across from the train station. Our stay included complimentary passes to public transportation, with stops for the tram and bus just outside the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was perfect for the two of us, with very comfortable beds and pillows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back if we find ourselves in Basel again."

"Newly renovated fresh looking and feeling rooms. Perfect for business travel. Quiet + comfy bed = good sleep. Not directly in the city center, but excellent/frequent public transportation, that is free of charge for those staying in the hotel. Good location for runners/bicycle riders. "
