The staff was very friendly, accommodating and pleasing. They went out of their way to help us navigate the neighborhood areas and provide guidance and suggestions. The food throughout our stay was amazing, especially the different soups that we tasted and the fresh home-made butter. The room was very clean, tidy and well-maintained.

Incredible view from the room and dining terrace. Beatenburg is a super nice area but understand that it is a little bit of a drive from Interlaken or having many dining choices. Hotel owners were very nice and helpful with suggestions.

When I return to the Interlaken area, this will be the only hotel I choose to stay at. Beatenberg is perfect for those looking for a less crowded and more scenic stay in the area. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend taking the cable car just up the street to Niederhorn for the best views, friendly Swiss cows, great hikes, and much less of a crowd. Also noteworthy is the free hotel breakfast: I will never have one better.

An absolute gem in the mountain!
We travel a lot as a family and it has been a while getting the personal and wonderful treatment we received at Hotel Gloria. Our daughters have a nut allergy and they went out of their way to make us feel safe at breakfast. The staff was all friendly and the owners Bernhard and Jacky are so kind and personable. The location was amazing, we had a room with a large balcony facing Lake Thun and the room was nicely decorated. We highly recommend this hotel, we didn’t want to leave.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Gloria. Jackie and her staff were absolutely incredible to us. Our room had the most beautiful view and we had a fantastic time. While the view and the room was amazing, the thing that stood out the most was the staff. They were so kind and helpful to us during our stay. We had to check out early on the day we were leaving and they even packed us a lunch for our travels since we wouldn’t be able to make breakfast. Thank you so much to the staff of Hotel Gloria, you were magnificent and we would love to come back here in the future simply because of your warm hospitality.

We were treated exceptionally well here. Also, simple, but welcoming features were appreciated--lit candles, personalized welcome, etc. The dining was exceptional as well. Loved our time here and enjoyed meeting Bernard and Jackie--the chef and owners.

It's a nice and cozy family-run hotel with stunning view of the mountains and lake. Jacky the owner is very friendly. She greeted us and made sue everything was okay. The staff also speaks good English and are very helpful. The hotel is in a very good condition, the view from the balcony is amazing. We'are glad we have chosen to stay at Hotel Gloria. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Incredible experience! The views from our balcony were magnificent. The staff was so friendly and helped recommend things to do around the area. We ate at the restaurant for dinner, which was so delicious! Also the breakfast buffet was a wonderful way to start the day! Highly recommend this hotel!

A very nice property with a fantastic view! The frond desk staff was more than happy to help, and were very knowledgeable about the area. We were also luky to meet the owners who were very nice! The room itself was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Definitely recommend, and will go back on our next trip to the area!

Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with an incredible view of surrounding mountains and lakes. We stayed bed and breakfast and the selection of food in the morning was really good, something for everyone (even me who’s gluten intolerant). They also so a very tasty fondue! The staff were all super helpful and polite, and they treat you as more of a friend which is very accommodating to their guests. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great hotel, clean rooms and great staff (the view from the rooms is magnificent). takes around 15-20 mins to get to the center of Interlaken. To me it wasn't an issue.

Great stay! The hotel restaurant was amazing. We had three meals there during our two night stay. A nice breakfast was included and featured fresh breads, meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruits, yogurt and cereals as well as several fruit juices. The only thing that we would have liked in our room would have been a small refrigerator.

One of the best experience i have had during my journey in europe. Booked the hotel at last minute after reviewing few guest reviews but didnt regret that and especially when i met with the hotel owner Mr. Bernard who have helped us with a great passion when we got stucked in snow. Arrived the hotel Mrs. Jackie his wife welcomed us and offered us a great room with the best view ever when u will be at Interlaken - beatenberg. We spend three days at Gloria and the experience was really fantastic. Great location ( bus station just one minute walk from the hotel), breathtaking view, very clean, very lovely staff, good breakfast, and great tarrace with lake view.

great place to stay, not consulting any map we got there from Sigriswil, what a challenge: very small road, quite scary when another car approached from the other side, had to drive backwards a few times...now we know better, get to the hotel from Unterseen, no problem at all. The view from the hotel down to the lake and up to all the Alpine peaks is marvellous. Excellent service, tasty breakfast, perfect coffee (tiny detail: they charge you extra if you don't want the hard boiled egg but scrambled eggs e.g., for us kind of narrow minded and stingy) Staff friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with fantastic views
Hotel Gloria is a wonderful hotel with a charming and helpful staff, good food, and clean, comfortable rooms. But the real draw is the unbelievable views of the Alps and the lake. Breathtaking!

Amazing Views, Food, and Hosts
Our hosts couldn't have been more kind; their homemade food was wonderful and well presented, so we ate there both nights. Off the beaten track (maybe that's why it's called Beatenberg?:)), it's very peaceful and quiet. The views of the Alps are outstanding and worth the extra drive away from the tourist hustle of Interlaken. We sat on our private balcony when we were in our rooms and took in the view. I'd be back in a heartbeat!
