It was a delightful experience overall. - Upon arrival, I found the front desk staff to be incredibly helpful. Despite initially being told that a higher floor wasn't available, they went above and beyond to accommodate my request. After a short wait, they managed to secure a room on a higher floor, which I greatly appreciated. - The rooms were spotless and tidy, giving off the impression of being recently renovated. - Situated near the bustling Brigade Road, it offers easy access to the vibrant nightlife of the area. - Regrettably, I didn't have the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurants or sample their food offerings, so I can't provide any feedback in that regard. However, judging by the overall quality of service during my stay, I wouldn't be surprised if the dining options were equally impressive. - The hotel offers an abundant breakfast spread . Not only was the selection impressive, but the chef also personally checked on me during my meal, ensuring that everything met my satisfaction. This personalized touch truly made me feel valued as a guest. However, the selection of coffee can be improved.

Had an amazing experience at Vivanta . Great food and excellent staff- Mr. Sandeep Mr. Uday took care of our food and services and made us feel like we were at home. Mr. Dev and Ms. Chahal at the reception took care of car reservations and small things very quickly. The property has been refurbished but I do miss the old Gateway. The convenience and the facility as a whole is excellent The scent especially in the lobby area was a bit strong for my taste. I am quite partial to the old Taj hotel scents and hope that the management would consider bringing those back

The management staff was excellent and most courteous. The people at the restaurant were awesome specifically the chef and the support people who met us every day. We would like to specially recognize Anand, Dev and Kushi for exceeding our expectations and they were outstanding. The housekeeping was phenomenal. All in all, we loved our stay for almost 4 weeks. Though we stayed at several other 5-star and 7-star hotels during our visit to India, Taj Vivanta at Residency Road Bangalore was by far the best hotel we stayed. We strongly recommend this hotel for everyone to come and stay and enjoy the superb services and amenities.

The reception team was so supportive, caring and provided me outstanding service well beyond my expectations. Want to recognize the house keeping and people in the restaurant and they were fabulous. I am staying in the hotel most of March and strongly recommend everyone to stay in Taj Vivanta at Residency Road. I will recommend to my friends and will be staying there again in future.

It is a nice enough hotel but not up to Taj hotels standards. Still being renovated and older rooms have very hard Indian style mattresses. Buffet food is OK, not great. Karavalli restaurant is very good. There are mosquitoes in outdoor dining areas. Staff is courteous.

Excellent luxury hotel in Bangalore
Vivanta is an excellent hotel with very good value. Whenever we visit Bangalore, we stay at Vivanta. Things that are good: * Very clean and well maintained rooms and lobby * Buffet breakfast is superb with wide variety of Indian and continental food. * Hotel is centrally located near Brigade road * Service is very professional, whether its security, house keeping, in-room dining or baggage assistance. The safe once ran out of battery but security came promptly and installed new ones. Things to improve: * King size bed could be a little bigger, its actually a Queen size bed * Improve eco-friendliness by replacing lots of plastic water bottles with water filter. Providing recycling cans would also work.

We love this hotel and it’s staff. They are hospitable and kind and make us feel at home. We love the place because it is not over run with support staff. We stay here almost every year or whenever we visit Bangalore. The place needs a facelift if it wants to be categorized as a 5 star hotel. Upkeep of property is necessary in India due to the conditions. Karavelli and Mynt have great food. Mynt’s breakfast is superb. The kitchen manager remembers and reminds the staff my favorites which is very touching.
