Location, location, location! Having the hotel be so close to Taipei Main Station, with easy access to several rail lines, was super useful. Being close to Q Square mall also meant easy access to a ton of restaurant and food options. This was a great hotel for my wife and two kids, while we met with relatives all around Taipei.

Near the big mall and main train station but very crowded though. The room is excellent layout, great view. The facility is attach to Square mall where we can to for dinner, so many to choose from at food court

This hotel offers a unique and different atmosphere that is elegant and upscale. It has a mix of old world and new. The location is near transportation making it easy to visit other parts of the city. The room was large and had a generous bath area including a garden tub. There was a mini bar that included coffee and tea options and a mini frig. Staff was helpful and made sure are needs were met. Would highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at the Palais de Chine Hotel in Taipei was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel stands out for its cleanliness and excellent service, with staff members who are attentive and always ready to assist. Location and Accessibility: One of the best features of the hotel is its proximity to Taipei Main Station. This is particularly convenient if you're flying out with one of the main Taiwanese airlines, allowing you to check in your luggage at the station and enjoy a luggage-free day in the city. The hotel is also adjacent to a large shopping center, which is a short walk away, though not directly connected to the hotel. The underground pathway linking the station to the shopping center is quite intricate and not open 24 hours, which can be inconvenient for early morning arrivals or during rainy weather. Dining: The hotel's Chinese restaurant holds a Michelin three-star rating and is a culinary highlight in Taipei. However, securing a table requires advanced booking, even for hotel guests. Room Amenities: The rooms are well-appointed, though the only minor issue I encountered was the weak toilet flush, which could be improved.
