"The rooms are very nice and spacious. They also have a full kitchen suite: 6 burners and an oven. The location is excellent — right by Playa Carrizallio. The cleaning staff is great — they even did our dishes. The pool is nice and refreshing. And the palapa on the fourth floor is a great place to hang out especially during sunsets. "

"Too much litter around. It was very noisy and the streets smelled bad.
The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. "

"Great location, vintage charm, friendly staff and excellent food all made our stay at HFdM a pleasure. The rooftop deck with hammocks and pool were as advertised - and a delight. I spent my birthday in a hammock looking out at the sea. "

"Nice, clean room. Walking distance from Rinconada. Next to the hotel is a little convenience store. People who worked there was super nice. A/C and ceiling fan was amazing. Great Wi-fi. "

"Loved the location and the hotel itself. Unfortunately, there is a bar directly across the street that played extremely loud music from about 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. The noise was so intense that our room literally shook, and we ended up losing two nights of sleep. We spoke with hotel staff both evenings, but the issue was never resolved. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay, this likely isn’t the right spot. If you’re looking for a lively, party atmosphere, it might be a good fit."

"Nice beds, convenient location close to the beaches and walking distance to the town. Good and helpful hosts and cool people staying at the place. Very nice bar on site."

"Do not stay at this hotel on a night that the nearby night club Piedra de la Iguana is playing. The whole room was pounding from the bass all night long with no way to block the noise. The other nights the hotel was satisfactory with easy access to Playa Zicatela and the pool was nice for hanging out during the hottest part of the day. "

"We were looking for a well maintained, clean and quiet place and the Hotel Blater was excellent in all those areas. The staff is excellent and the view from the rooftop pool and patio is wonderful"
" Very clean room. Excellent air conditioning. Nice breakfast included. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Our room was on the street across from 2 night clubs, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn’t bother us."
"The room is basic, not modern but very clean and spacious and good value for the price!
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, I speak very little Spanish and most of the staff did not speak English but they tried their best to communicate and help with any questions I had. Overall had a great stay! "
