Hotels near Carrizalillo Beach

"Property boasts incorrect descriptions, which are deceiving: A. “Top rated beach location”. In reality, the hotel away from the beach, it has no view of water. Rather, the view is of a run down fenced place. B. “Carrizalillo beach - Walk 3 min.” The actual distance of the hotel from that beach is 0.3 miles plus 160 steps. Nobody, can do that in 3 minutes. Needless to say that going back up will take even longer. The place itself has practically no amenities. After 1:00 pm all chairs in the one and only sitting area are folded, staff is gone, the place feels like desolate. The rooms are basic, no room for storage, sitting, relaxing. We had to live out of our suitcases which were on the floor (the only place available to put them); we had to beg for window shades to keto the light away. After 3 days we for get something, that worked partially to block the sun. Hot water was only available after continuous complaining; it took 3-4 days to get it. The room had a comfortable bed, the one and only good thing in that hotel. "

"One of the best stays ive ever had, and very sad to leave. Beautiful pool and lush gardens surrounding it. Plenty of sun loungers. Pool was never crowded and I often had it to myself in the late morning for a couple hours. Very clean and comfortable room. Walking distance (5 minutes) to many restaurants, bars. Nearby beaches as well (10-15 minute walk). Will absolutely stay here again."

"Great location and exceptionally clean. The rooms are very close together but once inside it’s pretty isolated. The staff are very friendly and the host is on call for any issues. I left stuff by accident but was able to collect it with no problem. Highly recommend 👍🙏"

"For starters there was no shuttle as Expedia said there would be. Food was absolutely horrible compared to the east side. No stocked fridge not even with pop. Room was just average hotel room. I travelled by myself so I didn’t really care about room. No night time entertainment whatsoever. The weather is absolutely amazing compared to the east side of Mexico "

"Pros: the AC was great, location close to good restaurants, good price. Cons: walls paper thin, took a long time to get hot water. Our room was ready at 12pm, but they wanted to charge us $350 pesos to go in before the check-in time at 3pm. It gave me the vibe that the front desk girl and cleaning lady wanted to pocket this money for themselves because I saw them whispering to each other after I declined their offer."
