"A good, solid hotel that is clean, tidy, provides good breakfast and gets the job done whilst you’re in town. Brace yourself for sub-average Radisson Blu polish and finish — ratty bathrobes that are threadbare and stained, sealant in the bathrooms long since gone, and a room safe that isn’t actually bolted in and can simply be lifted in its entirety do not belong in this brand. However the breakfast was beautiful, the staff helpful, and the sheets impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were very well maintained. If you’re swinging through Pune for work this is a perfect option. If you’re looking for something truly beautiful for a vacation, I’d maybe look elsewhere."
"Spent 6 nights at the crown plaza, this was my 3rd stay at this hotel. Rooms were ok but the beds were terrible and uncomfortable. Also there were food stains and rips on the bedding.
Food was good and plenty to eat for everyone. Service was very slow and often found myself wait just to get a simple cup of coffee.
My biggest complaint was the room cards. Every time I stepped out and then came back my card stopped working. Every day at least 3 times I had to go to reception to get my key card reset. It was painful and extremely annoying. I was meant to come back to this hotel after I came back from Goa but this put me off and I decided to book at the Conrad instead.
I was very disappointed with my stay at the Crown Plaza this time around."
"The overall feel of the resort is amazing. Rooms spacious, plenty of amenities, huge bathroom and bathtub. Nice balcony, we'll maintained property , feel of staying in woods / Jungle.
Breakfast spread and quality is excellent. Outdoor sitting with wind blowing and 18°C temperature on May month is a bliss"
"I first stayed here 20 years ago when this hotel was Le Meridien. I was in Pune with my daughters whilst my husband was out of town so decided to have a trip down memory lane with them. The hotel is as lovely and grand as ever, the rooms are comfortable with the Indian service you expect from a 5 star. Food on room service, main restaurant and the Chinese restaurant was delicious. Helpful concierge and front of house staff if you need assistance with Uber etc. Lobby area is just gorgeous to sit in and the pool terrace perfect to escape the heat. Well equipped gym and recreation centre which the kids loved (includes air hockey, table tennis etc). "
Make a point to visit attractions such as Venna Lake and Mapro Garden. During your stay, visit sights such as Baneshwar Temple, Rajgad Fort and Sinhagad Fort.
