Quaint chalet. Would have been nice to have a heater in both bedrooms. The surrounding beach was amazingly beautiful! Seeing the fairy penguins at night was absolutely amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The views are stunning. You can hear the waves, see some wildlife. It was a great base for us to visit surrounding places with a comfy bed & spa bath to return from our adventures. Great facilities to cook up a meal & relax in the lounge room. We’ll be back!

Property is a hidden gem, rooms not the most modern but very spacious & clean. Lady at check in (Jenny) was lovely & very helpful. Bonus was that we got to see some penguins at night as well, Oliver & Alexandria were wonderful hosts to take us down to see the Penguins.

Beautiful spot

Beautiful spot, good size appartments with great view on to sea, pinguin spotting every night…you might get lucky. The only thing that i find a bit sad that there is only a very smal 2 seater sofa, no chair. Would be nice to have a bit more comfort to sit and watch the sea.

Room was basic but fine. Owner / front desk friendly. Waitress for dinner was friendly and helpful. Food was average and shared areas lacking in any atmosphere and a strong smell of paint. Appreciated the shared guest laundry. Overall was ok for a night on our journey but I would not have stayed for longer. Note this is next door to penguin tour but had to drive back into town to catch shuttle bus so not really a benefit being close by.

No restaurant so had to go back into town, which is a drive, for breakfast. Did have cooking facilities but not worth it for one night. Other than that access to own beach was wonderful and rooms were neat, clean and well maintained.

Great way to see the penguins at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in a breeze. The apartment was just beautiful. Could do with another washing machine on the grounds though- it was always very busy!
