Top Biddestone and Slaughterford Hotel Reviews
Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Room was lovely and spacious, clean, great amenities! Perfect location too."
Clayton Hotel Bristol City
8/10 Good
"Very nice clean hotel. Itโs a huge place but laid out in a way that looks like several smaller places, but finding our way around the upper floors was confusing. Nice spacious clean rooms with just what we wanted for a short stay. Good WiFi. And in a great location for exploring Bristol as a first-timer."
Bristol Grand Hotel By Sunday
8/10 Good
"Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful. Only giving a 4 star because on this occasion I could not sleep due to a loud rumbling noise kept going off through the night, as well as the receptionist knocking on the doors of surrounding rooms at one point until found the one they were after. Not sure if the rumbling noise was beyond the hotels control or not. Everything else was 5 star and so were my last 2 visits, love this hotel."
Macdonald Bath Spa
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel, helpful staff, but the spa facilities need an upgrade,"
De Vere Tortworth Court
8/10 Good
"We had a fabulous stay here. Unfortunately the lack of air-conditionng was a real issue in the heat. The room was clean but needs a refresh, And there was a lack of plugs and USB ports."
Village Hotel Swindon
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and freshly decorated and a spacious room. Parking is free which is a bonus. Highly recommended as a base to visit the Cotswolds"
Majestic Hotels Bristol
8/10 Good
"Great location right opposite the Hippodrome ideal for us as thatโs where we were going.Bathroom looked newly decorated although shower worked well but could do with updating. The room itself was spotlessly clean but probably needs redecorating soon as it wasnโt to the same standard as the bathroom also little tip for anyone staying here make sure you have a plug in lead for charging your phone as there are no usb sockets which they could do with. One thing I found disappointing was although checkin isnโt until 3pm and we had arrived early we were told our room was ready which was great but they said itโs ยฃ10 per hour so from 1pm when we arrived until 3pm they wanted an extra ยฃ20 so we declined and said we will just park our car for now and come back at 3pm.So for this reason I have dropped one star. However I would use this hotel again if I needed to."
Doubletree by Hilton Bath
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room. Staff were polite Bar was clean. Limited menu avaliable as new restaurant was opening soon (later that week). Not a big deal because hotel is situated in the heart of Bath. Everything you need is within walking distance. Abundant food options in area."
The Gainsborough Bath Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The Gainsborough Bath Spa โ โ โ โ โ โ My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gainsborough Bath Spa. It is beautifully located and an easy walk from the train station, making it particularly convenient when arriving in Bath. The hotel has clearly benefited from its renovation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms excellent, the towels luxurious, and the air-conditioning remarkably quiet. The shower has outstanding water pressure. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff throughout were warm, courteous and highly professional. The spa is a real highlight. The baths, sauna, steam room and ice room are beautifully done, and we found the whole experience exceptionally relaxing. Congratulations to the management on a very successful renovation. I had read reviews mentioning noise from outside, but this was not an issue for us at all. Bath becomes remarkably quiet in the evening, and by the time we returned from dinner the neighborhood was essentially asleep. We also enjoyed the hotelโs own restaurants, but I would particularly recommend the Architect Bar & Restaurant, just a short walk away. Overall, this is an extremely comfortable and well-run hotel in a great location. We would happily stay here again and recommend it without hesitation."
