"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! "

"Showers do get hotter than lukewarm and water pressure is poor. When asking staff, we were told to use showers when others were not as it drains the hot water. I’ve not encountered this request of customers before. Asked for a room refresh within the parameters of the hotel e.g. ask reception before midday. Refresh didn’t happen. The rooms are basic and but okay. All in all, the hotel is lukewarm place to stay. Decent location in Glasgow centre but that’s about it."

"From check in to check out, we loved our stay. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Bar, lounge and restaurant were all stunning and very well maintained. The best breakfast out of the other 3 close by hotels we’ve stayed in. We will definitely stay here again when attending a gig. "

"The refrigerator in the rooms don’t work. This was confirmed by the maintenance workers. He told us and other guests that the refrigerators are not ventilated properly. The front desk takes responsibility for nothing. We would ask for directions and they sent us the wrong way every single time. At one time they turned what should have been a 10 minute walk into a 70 minute walk. The T.V. Remote went missing in my room. When I asked for another remote, I was told that was not their problem. The staff was of no help in any way."
