"Area is very quiet. Rooms are much larger than the usual hotel. Hallways and rooms are very clean. Less than an hour from Fredericksburg and only minutes from 290 & Johnson City. This is our second stay here on our visits to Fredericksburg, Luckenbach and the general area. Will definitely stay again on any future trips to this area instead of staying in the Fredericksburg area."

"This is our second visit to The Alexander. We love the area and The Alexander is the perfect location. So close to so much and yet you don’t feel smothered by the hustle and bustle of town. Close to Austin, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, and the San Antonio. With wineries and food choices literally everywhere. We love the treehouse! The Mac is great and was so perfect and clean. Steps right out to the deck of the tree and is just lovely. Thank you for another great stay!"

"Very nice room we were oly there one night, and i would have ,iked to have been ther longer to take advantage of the pool and the nice view, the only drawback was the feel of a long drive from Dripping Springs, where we had commitments, mso there were several trips back and forth, which seemed longer for the curviness and necessarily slow speeds to be safe. Twelve miles is not much by Texas standards, but we should have spent more time there to enjoy the quiet and relaxing views,"
