The hotel is well located near to gas station and Mika restaurant which is really good. The hotel is well equipped with all the essentials. The breakfast has plenty of options like scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheese, types of bread, multiple coffee tea options and pancakes. We had a great stay and the staff is also friendly!

Good amenities here with good USB and electrical outlets. The robes and slippers were very handy to get to the hot tubs. Nice shower. The restaurant next store Vinstofa, was excellent.

Loved this hotel because of how convenient it was to all the golden circle attractions. It is also right by Mika Restaurant (which was delicious) and the tomato farm. The lodge was cozy and breakfast was lovely.

This is a great place to stay in the Golden Circle. If you're lucky, you can see the northern lights from the parking lot! The staff was extremely helpful. In particular, Theresa spent time with us suggesting potential stops on our trip. We changed our trip based on her input and had an amazing time. Thank you!!

It exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean. The self check-in was seamless since I got all the info I needed in an email. They had a good breakfast and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Good dining options are nearby. I will definitely recommend to friends!

This is a perfect spot to stay alone the Golden Circle. We really enjoyed the hot tub, although it could have been slightly hotter, and the breakfast, which had the best eggs of our whole trip. The rooms are pretty no frills but they're clean and have everything you need. Would stay here again!

Cozy Country Hotel
We felt at home and welcomed! The staff were all wonderful and the hotel and rooms were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and very welcomed given how expensive breakfast was in Reykjavik... Oh and the hot tubs were awesome!!

At the heart of the golden circle, convenient commuting to main hot spots. Clean and good room sizes, hot pools available even in winter time. The breakfast was also very good, I wish to come back soon!

Wonderful stay, great location & friendly staff!
Wonderful stay in the Golden Circle! Perfect location to get to many attractions! Loved the pizza restaurant across the street and near Friðheimar! Comfy beds and clean room. Saw the northern lights both nights we were there! Most of all, super friendly and helpful staff! Enjoyed the coffee at the breakfast.

Loved this place. Easy self check-in. Nice hot tubs. The best breakfast we had in Iceland (shout out to whoever makes the scrambled eggs and pancakes). The staff was super nice and go out of their way to be helpful. Quick drive to the Geysir, waterfalls, and krater. Easy 30 min drive to Selfoss. Would totally recommend this place.

There was very little interaction with personnel. Check in/out is with a keypad. There was no one at a "front" desk. Strange at first, but in the end, I really liked it. The breakfast was more than adequate but there was a book with information, and a shelf of pamphlets to guide us on our stay. I will stay here again when I return to Iceland and I highly recommend this place. We did not use the hot tubs.

What a beautiful hotel! The bathroom / shower was very modern. The hot tub under the stars was an added bonus and the plush bathrobes and slippers made for a spa like experience. The restaurant offers a very generous complimentary breakfast. The espresso machine was a plus ! The owner is friendly and we enjoyed meeting him. Highly recommend staying here

The property is new and nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. The property has a nice hot tub and breakfast was nice. The parking lot filled up at night but we managed to find a spot. Besides a pizza restaurant closeby there are no restaurants you can walk to or drive to in less than 10mns. Don't keep your hopes up to see northern lights from this property, there are hot-houses a 150 yards away that are brightly lit day and night and will make the sky "glow". Some people even mistook them for northern lights, instead they were sodium lights for cucumber plants. A good hotel nonetheless.

Nice, clean and comfortable hotel.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms very comfortable. Free breakfast. Simple but nice with many options. We did not used the hot tubs, a few people did, there were robes and slippers in the room to go to it. This hotel is next door to Fridheimar tomato farm and restaurant and there’s another restaurant across the road.

Enjoyable Stay
The hotel was very nice, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. Our favorite parts were the smart tv in the room and the hot tubs. The breakfast had lots of options and was extremely enjoyable.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Large bathroom space where you did not feel cramped. Good breakfast and restaurant area on property.
