"Received a confirmation for our reservation, stating check-in was at 2pm (and check-out was at 11am) we arrived early and were told check-in was at 3 (there was a sign that did say check-in was 3pm and check-out was 10am) told them about the email and they responded that they can’t control what is put out there on-line. Came back later and they did get us in about 20-25 minutes early. We checked out the next morning at 9, we later received an email receipt stating again that check-out time was 11am. Think some clearer communication between the individual hotels and their online counterparts, would be helpful to future guests."

"The location was convenient and had lots of services nearby. The initial impression was at the lobby was clean and it smelled good. The lobby attendant was great. We got to our room and it was small and smelled musty. The coffee maker was dirty and the air conditioner did not take the humidity out of the air. The breakfast in the morning was good with hot and cold choices. It seemed like a safe area so all in all I would stay here again, but probably request a room on the second floor or hopefully it wouldn’t be as musty and humid."

"My college friend and I "met in the middle" and stayed here for the weekend. We loved our lake view room at the lodge. The view was so wonderful! Everyone was kind and helpful. We wish there was map that had the property and the hiking trails. We did use both maps, but the hiking map doesn't show where the lodge or front entrance is for reference. We went to the seafood buffet with a reservation on Friday. The food did not look appealing on the buffet and some of it wasn't good at all- shrimp and grits primarily. The veggies didn't look good but tasted good. We enjoyed the gumbo and the fried shrimp. For the charge, we were disappointed. We would order from the menu next time."
