"I couldn't get in to the property. I arrived at around 7pm and put the code into the door lock and turned the handle only to find that the door was also locked with another lock I phoned the contact number on the booking confirmation only to find it was an office and nobody was there, so I left a message, I never had a reply. I rang Hotels.com, who were very helpful. But they were unable to get me a refund. I had not read the reviews for the place, but I sugest that if you want to make booking...

"Monica was super helpful and communicative :) thank you for the nice studio"

"Great location, polite team. Unfortunately for the rate it’s a dated room with bath and hand shower head. This sits under a sloping roof and meant no stand up showing."

"A decent bed for the night, with on suite toilet (no toilet paper though). Decent shared kitchen to use if required, and a quite area at night. Overall, I'll book with Darwin Guest house again."

"Very friendly a d helpful, great location with parking. All very nice would stay again"

"Excellent value for a budget hotel. Clean and tidy, the bed was comfy and the shower was excellent. Checkin was over the phone and was super friendly and helpful"

"Great place to stay. Super host. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Good pub nearby."

"Dirty, changed my room, someone else in my room when I arrived so not safe to leave any belongings in room as someone else was in the building and had access. Didn’t send entry codes to one room. No toilet or shower so had to use a communal toilet which didn’t have any toilet paper. Cheap for a reason. Clearly are not cleaning the rooms. Wouldn’t risk sleeping under the sheets so slept on top of the quilt "

"Charming older hotel very close to the beach and the Boscombe centre precinct for restaurants and shops."

"Very clean. Host was excellent."
