Bologna is not place set up as a tourist destination
There is stuff to do in Bologna but not enough for a week of pure outings. However the trains are cheap travelling via italotreno and fast so Florence and Rome are only a short journey away making bologna a great base for day trips
Beautiful city, great food options.
Fantastic people! Great architecture! FABULOUS food!!!
Bologna is very walkable. Eating can be quite dear, but nice food generally.
