"Our family of four stayed for 8 nights to attend a church conference in Vista and spend quality time on our family vacation. We had a wonderful time at the Ayres Hotel. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and attentive. Alphonse checked us in and Joy checked us out. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and thorough with tidying our room. The pool was fun and the hot tub was a bonus. Delicious breakfast and although there was only one washing machine and dryer, we found a laundry mat down the street along with an Albertsons, places to eat, and gas stations. We were able to check out San Marcos, Carlsbad, Oceanside, and San Diego while staying at this hotel. The rate was affordable given this area and overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Loved how family friendly this hotel is. We will definitely be back again."
