Exceptional service and an incredibly unique experience staying in a chateau full of historical artifacts and artwork. The staff are obviously passionate about what they do, and go to great lengths to he welcoming and accommodating.The wine tour and tasting was very thorough and equally delicious!

Felt like a “king and queen” staying in the gorgeous chateau! And we’re treated as such by the amazing and attentive staff! The wines produced here are simply delicious! Lovely terraces in which to enjoy them and the beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau. We highly recommend this special place and look forward to when we can return.

Amazing, unforgettable experience
Attentive and knowledgeable staff. A very special stay in one of only 5 rooms, incredible art work, wine and setting. The restaurant served the vegetables fresh from the gardens and they surpassed the meat and fish served as the depth of flavour was incredible . We will never forget our stay at Chateau Pape Clement, truly an amazing experIence which we would recommend.

The hospitality and service was wonderful. We had a lovely tour from David while drinking a glass of their delicious wine. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable!

Staying at Chateau Pape Clement was amazing. The gardens are stunning and the property itself is beautiful. It is absolutely an old chateau and we heard that at some point it belonged to Pope Clement. Regardless, it was a real treat to stay at such a historic beautiful place. The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was scrumptious served inside a dinning room overlooking the gardens. We did a wine tour of the winery and vineyards, and were very impressed by the wines. I would definitely stay here again.

Truly one of the best hotel experiences of my life. The hotel is pure class and luxury at every turn. The rooms are huge and stunning with world class art and decor. The breakfast is delicious. Comes with a wonderful tour and tasting of the winery.

Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back!
We loved our stay at the Chateau. Helpful, lovely and accommodating staff, particularly David. Clean, unique space. Really special. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. It’s a bit hard to find with the address as a taxi or uber will drop you off at the boutique. Its difficult to get to the Chateau with luggage from there, but we were lucky that both our taxi driver and David were helpful and made sure we got their safely and comfortably.

The Chateau is lovely; the grounds are beautiful; the breakfasts were delicious; the staff was superb. Our room was smaller than we expected, but we quickly got over it because everything else was at such a high level. We also like the fact that Pape Clement is about 20 minutes outside Bordeaux, though access to the city was not much of an effort (sometimes expensive if you don't take the tram to Pessac Centre). The hour-long wine tour was among the best we've every experienced. Highly recommended.

Special experience
Chateau Pape Clement is an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful and you are basically staying in a small castle. The service exceeded all expectations. David, our host, went above and beyond with a tour of the Chateau and helped us arrange dinner at an excellent local restaurant. Breakfast was delicious, and the tour of the winery with John was fantastic. The Chateau is about 20 min outside of the city center and easy to get around. Highly recommend and want to come back soon!

Luxury Cheteau in not so nice area
Beautiful chateau and large room in the middle of a city area. They don’t serve dinner but they offer in room service which only offers little options of which the main courses come in containers which was heated in a microwave and this didn’t fit the classiness of the hotel! On arrival David however were very friendly and professional and we got to taste Pape de Clement wine so we cannot complain! Bordeaux town is a must see!

What a great place! Loved it. Our first night we had dimmer in the dinning roI’m- very cool! Very special night. Our room has an original Picasso - just really special place. We did the wine making /blending and tour- definitely do that! We will be back with friends and take over the entire place— great place,super people and perfect location. Also downtown Pessac is very cute town and some good restaurants.

It is a beautiful modernized castle in a vineyard. They offered me a fine glass of wine at check-in and valet parked my car for free. Service was very attentive.

Fabulous Hotel close to the City Center
Absolutely Fabulous Chateau! From the moment we arrived we were in awe. Upon entering the magnificent grounds to the warm and inviting staff at the front desk we were made to feel as if we were at home. The next morning having an absolutely fabulous breakfast followed by a wonderful tour of the vineyard culminating with a wine introduction. I can not rave enough about this place and look forward to my return Thank Bernard!

Elegant!! Felt like Lady Mary from Downton Abbey! Well maintained & the staff was wonderful! Came home late one evening around 1:30 am and the night time staff member greeted us at the door to see if we needed anything before going to bed. The only negative is that not all the rooms have a walk in shower, most are large high tubs you need to climb into with only a handheld shower that doesn't mount on the wall. Nice location for touring wineries & close to the center of Bordeaux about an 18 minute drive.

Wonderful experience
This is the ultimate B&B stay, a short drive from Bordeaux city center! It is a dream for any wine lover, and equally a great stay for anyone looking for a homey yet luxurious stay. I would come back here in a heartbeat the next time I'm traveling in this area!

The chateau is beautiful-rooms, dining area, grounds, etc. The breakfast was nice too. I really enjoyed the wine bar/boutique on the grounds (not included in the hotel price though) where I could taste local wines!

Royal stay :)
Great royal stay in this 19th century castle, with big rooms overviewing a nice park and wine yards. Room is very comfy, although of course with the old attributes of a castle: cranky wood flooring, high windows and curtains. Bed was a bit too soft and we would have prefered smaller pillows, but it was super enjoyable to experience a French castle and bourgeois way of living for few days. Super nice staff and great winery just beside, you can taste fantastic wines just around the corner. Pessac city center is 5mn drive away, but Bordeaux is more 25-30mn, and parking there is a nightmare. Also incredible to note: the park has olive trees which are... 500 to 1850 years old!!! Absolutely puzzling to see a tree planted in 193!

Quite, beautiful getaway in an European Chateau
The property is well managed, bathroom is modern style with old royal taste. All the staff at the hotel and wineshop are super helpful. We had a great view to the chateau's garden and vinery. The chateau is 20 min drive from Bordeaux downtown and 5 min away from Pessac commercial center.

Excellent Chateau with lot of surprise!
The Chateau kept for its original declaration and make you feel like going back to 100+ ago. The room is spacious and clean. A lot of surprising animals and trees you will discover in the garden (not to disclose here). The wine tour is very good and you will see some hidden side of the castle. The breakfast is great and high quality. The dinner, on the other hand, is not that worth of money as you could find a lot of better choices in the city with that spent.
