"I believe at one point, some time ago, this was a 4 star “resort”. Not anymore. Our A/C did not work and they could not fix it while we were there. No real bar area and would have to give them a period of time to use the spa (to heat things up). Staff was friendly and did what they could. "

However, the room next door had poor sound insulation on the night I stayed, which slightly affected my sleep quality. The room and facilities are a bit dated, so travelers who prefer a more modern style may want to confirm their room type in advance."

No kitchen storage space. Grounds needed weeding. Don't book a semi cabin as the walls are so thin you can hear everything next door. Pool was closed & shop and very limited stock. 20km from Florence"
