Location is perfect for what we wanted to see and do. Priced attractively. Building was quiet but annoyingly noisy on the street and sidewalks every evening from 9pm to early morning. (Honking, arguing, trucks..) Would stay again

The thermostat doesn't seem to connect to anything, and the air conditioning unit only partially worked, so it was hot and stuffy the whole time I was there. It wasn't as bad as it sounds. The exact amenities required were there, nothing more, nothing less. It was all fine.

Location, location, location! Very comfortable and spacious, and essentially a one bedroom flat. A final floor of stairs to climb and a slightly clunky lift were neither here nor there.

Not worth the price paid. Accommodations are minimal, bathrooms are shared in the hallway. Bathrooms are not kept clean or stocked with basic things like paper towel and toilet paper. Room was small and beds are not that comfortable. Location is the only benefit

Excellent Located Hostel
This is a hostel with shared bathrooms. Some elements are run down but the room was spacious with comfy sheets and pillows. THE LOCATION IS AMAZING. The manager responds instantly by texts (e.g., with wifi work-around).

A perfect location for young professionals.
I cant say enough about how much value Temple Place offers. For hostel prices you get a large room to yourself, a common area for all your needs, clean bathrooms/showers, and a location that cant possibly be beat (steps from Boston Common). Perfect for any traveler who isnt ovely concerns about ammenities. If you are the type of person who spends more time outside of the room than it, this is the place you want to stay. Maybe not the best for families with children, but single professionals and young couples will find extrememe ROI staying here.

A great place to stay if you're planning to be out and about most of the time! We absolutely were looking at this place for the location and nothing else, however we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, security at the premise and comfortability of the beds. The room was quite stuffy as the window doesn't open to the street but with the AC on the whole time it was good enough. Definitely recommend if you want location above all else and a good night sleep in between activities!

The property is downtown, directly across from Boston Commons and a few minutes walk from the Green and Orange T (subway) stations. This is an ideal location, entirely walkable. The room was clean and beds (a bunk bed) comfortable enough. Towels, coffee maker, small fridge and air conditioner were provided. The room had a small couch and a desk with a chair. The property itself is in need of repairs: The bathrooms are clean but sinks are missing stoppers, toilet paper holders are loose, and wallpaper is peeling off the walls in some places. The shared kitchen also needs repair: Microwave doesn't work at all, the stove has rust around the heating elements, and the faucet is missing a handle. Overall, we would stay again. Just wish some of these things were tended to, they are not costly repairs and would have made our stay more pleasant.

The image shown for the apartment on Hotels.com does not match the apartment we stayed in. There is also no mention in the location and apartment description that you have to share a bathroom with other people on the floor. My fiancé and I walked in expecting a double or queen bed, plenty of space, and our own bathroom. What we got was a whole building that reeked of cigarette smoke, a bunk bed in a small room, and two bathrooms for everyone on the floor to share. I will say that the room and bathrooms were clean, but I was nervous to go shower in a shared bathroom.

This small efficiency apartment is in the best location lots to see and do within walking distance. Interior is comfortable . I have to laugh at myself however thinking I could at 68 be on a top bunk bed. Once I got up there it was cozy and nice .Just a warning for the young at heart.

The location was perfect. Every sight we wanted to see was approximately 15 minutes walk, the park was beautiful and the cafe across the street had great breakfast! There were a few things i came across that needed repaired like door hooks and tv mount. But overall definitely worth the price and experience!

I really liked my room, the largeness of the space and the high ceilings. It was comfortable, the AC is rather loud and there are a few things that would’ve been nice to have had. There was just one fork in the kitchen and the TV remote went dead while watching TV. Maybe keep spare batteries on hand? I am not a fan of shared bathrooms, and this more or less confirmed it. But everything seemed to be clean. The (bunk) bed was very comfortable, the sheets nice and clean, as well as the towels. This room would’ve been perfect for more people than one person, though it doesn’t have a private bath. It was very quiet and private throughout my stay.

The problem is not only that this is a hostel mid-tier level property claiming to be a hotel, the pricing is ridiculous. I got one of the deluxe rooms and I still have bad experience. I could get one of the 4 star hotels by seaport with same cost.

Short of expectation
This is essentially like a "virtual" operated residence with no personnel in the building. Building location is good and close to train stations. However, there is no provision for early check in. They even charge customers for dropping off their luggage which is just outrageous considering the room rates. The building is old and does not look like the picture advertised. I could not even get access to a local tv station and there was no cable TV. Netflix was however available. Overall not impressed with the customer service.

55th Birthday celebration
The place was super nice. Easy to get to and easy access. We had a little incident with a leak coming from above but the owners communicated and accommodated us immediately. We had no issues and the location was awesome. Walking distance to everything. Thank you so much!!!
