Preferred, Bregaglia Valley hotels

"Room is clean but it lacks useful things such as a fridge and a kettle for some tea and coffee. Staff is very helpful. Shuttle service is excellent. Ate at the restaurant in the evening. You pay a high price for a very small portion of commercial food. Restaurant is not recommended. In my opinion its a tourist trap. "

"The property is very old and could do with a refresh. The room was large but furnished with old wardrobes where the doors didn’t close properly. The staff were polite but not professionally trained hoteliers. Waited at the front window for over 15 minutes before the front desk staff acknowledged me stating she was on a personal call and hadn’t realized I needed help. Was disappointed to stay here luckily it was for only one night. "

"Impression of entrance and reception was poor but hotel room was very modern, new, bright, big and had a balcony. Breakfast was nice, had lots of options. Location was good, right beside lake and about 15 minutes walk from old town or train station. Nice scenic walk around lake. Allowed us to leave luggage in ski room while we waited for a later train. All in all, would recommend for a mid range hotel option."
