Female solo travel be careful a guy in underwear opened my room door like at 4 In the morning. Don’t recommend. It is not Clean dust in the tables. Walls dirty.

I payed £99 for two nights walking distance to live bands and all the stunning places to eat. Room was good and the breakfast. Only thing you should know i arrived on Sunday for 2.00pm check in parked my car in Regency square car park as advised by the hotel as it's just a few minutes walk. Sunday cost me £37 and the Monday was £25 . Parking is very expensive in Brighton.

I was very pleased with the rooms, breakfast, and overall professionalism. Having stayed at Queen Mary the night before, I found the staff here to be exceptional in comparison—amazingly polite, respectful, and attentive. The breakfast was also outstanding. I only wish I had booked this place for both nights. A truly excellent experience!

Basic Hotel is situated in busy area of town, ideal for shops, bars & restaurants. Spacious room, comfortable bed & nice walk-in shower. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

Listed as a study hotel, we were dubious as to what we would find. Needn't of worried.. Secure from the outside so felt safe immediately, staff on front desk were welcoming, friendly & helpful. Noticed straight away how clean & fresh the hotel looked & smelt. Our room was easy to find, with the use of stairs or lift available - also a stair lift too. On entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious, clean & tidy it was. Plenty of tea/coffee, plus a fridge & safe. A tv too. Enough plug sockets

Very clean and organized room. The staff was also immediately accommodating and responsive with any questions or worries I had via WhatsApp. The included breakfast was also lovely and the staff there were extremely kind and gracious to let me eat even though I came right after closing.

Good value for price, close to shopping, restaurants, and up the hill form the beach. A few too many homeless men and shady-looking groups of men near the entrance. It's not the hotels fault, but it can be worrisome for solo female travelers.
