"We had a nice friendly welcoming reception, Our room was very nice, no air conditioner but they provide fan which works well. Although there's one floor, there's no lift not that we didn't need it, Good facilities, tea coffee etc and complimentary water also a safe, Restaurant if very good, nice friendly staff and very reasonable priced food options. The only criticism I have is that the doors slam very quickly and make a loud noise which can disturb you also you can hear the people/tv in the next room, so if you're a light sleeper I'd take ear plugs. I would stay there again. It's also right next to a large national trust property. Gogs are very welcome aswell."

"Mallory Court is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Our room in the Orchard Wing was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was lovely to have a breakfast buffet as well as the option of a cooked breakfast. The only part of our stay we were not happy with is that the restaurant only serves either a tasting menu or set a la carte menu both of which are expensive. Lovely for a one off but not for the five nights that we were staying. There is an Asian restaurant but neither of us particularly like Asian food or a bar menu which was ok. So we ended up having to go out to pubs for our evening meal and after a day sight seeing the last thing we wanted to do was get back in the car and go out. It was a shame as it hasn't been like that when we've stayed before and has put us off returning."

"Fantastic location and surroundings Was disappointed with our room for tha fact we upgraded with a pet with us To find out we didn’t get our upgrade because pets were not allowed in that side of the hotel So Single beds which I was very disappointed with But the front desk could give us a free breakfast But to be honest, would rather a double bed I ordered But all in all staff are fantastic Easy parking Clean room Beautiful place to visit"

"Great communication from the host. Property was well presented & had everything we needed. Weather was hot but fans provided. Shower started hot, then went cold, then warm. Not a problem when it was so hot but could have been a shock if it was cooler weather. Would recommend the cottage."
