"My stay was extremely disappointing and not worth the $400–$500/rate. I chose this hotel specifically for the amenities after confirming both before booking and again before check-in that I would be able to use the pool and hot tub with spa services. At check-in, I also confirmed this with the front desk representative, who consulted her manager and verified access. While check-in was pleasant, the room was unacceptable. It had burn holes in the carpet, dirty vents, windows, and cabinets, and the bed did not appear clean. Most concerning, there was an exposed live wire sticking out of the nightstand, creating a safety hazard. The room also lacked basic conveniences such as a way to charge my phone. Housekeeping confirmed the room had just been cleaned. After reporting these issues, I had to wait for a room change, causing me to miss a dinner reservation w/friends visiting from out of town. The replacement room was smaller and still rundown. I then learned I could not use the amenities I specifically booked the hotel for. I was told there was a private event, no towels were available, management had restricted guest access to the hot tub, and there was a $75 spa min to which they were not accepting appts. Management acknowledged my concerns but offered no resolution and promised a follow-up that never happened. Still waiting for calls back.At checkout, valet took over an hour to retrieve my vehicle despite showing Id, and proof of ins. This is a 1 star at best."

"Mixed feelings about this stay. Staff were fine, and breakfast was decent. However, as a handicapped person, I found the room not very functional. It was small, and had no shower chair in the bathroom, although otherwise the bathroom was accessible. My biggest problem was the bed. Why are hotels doing beds so high that you need a ladder to get into them!? This one broke the record, it was up to my waist! I ended up scrunching onto this weird lounger piece of furniture, to sleep. I just can’t see any reason for beds to be on these high platforms, and as a handicapped person I sure couldn’t access this one!"

"Lacretia (spelling?) who was working the front desk was very professional, kind and helpful. The cleaning staff also gets an A+! The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were very enjoyable and the on- site restaurant did not disappoint. $5 for the breakfast buffet every morning hit the spot. My husband loved the Fettuccine Alfredo and the drinks were good. This place is super charming and has a great price point. Highly recommend!"

"Had a great stay at MGM. The staff and valet were nice. Only 2 issues I had is when I had food delivered it was stolen within minutes and there was nothing that could be done. They only allow food to be dropped off at a random table that’s accessible to anyone walking by. From the time the food was being delivered I was already on the elevator coming down and it was already stolen. SECOND issue is that I’m just getting a bill that states that I utilized the bar in my room and I definitely didn’t bc I already know that they overcharge for the stocked items so now I’m out of a extra $105. Not cool MGM"
