"Our room had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and was spotlessly clean. There was a chouce if pillows, aircon and a fan. We didn't use either, just opened the window for fresh air. The shower was roomy and there was hot water. A lovely stay with freshly cooke meals.."

"What a beautiful setting, we were blown away! The rooms were comfortable, clean and wonderfully supplied with toiletries and hot drinks. The beds were extremely comfortable, best night sleep I’ve had in ages. Parking is free, just register it at reception. Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be coming back. "The outside of the property was beautiful at first glance. Both myself and my partner were staying only for one night. The first issue was the lady who showed us to our room- as I was walking she asked “how far along are you?” To which I said “sorry? Who’s pregnant” and she replied “oh sorry, I just thought you were pregnant and I didn’t understand why your partner would’ve made you hold the bags” to which I replied “no”. Obviously quite an uncomfortable situation for both party’s, I wouldn’t say I’m on the heavier side as 20yr old size 12 but obviously she thought otherwise. Second issue was our bathroom, as we walked in we noticed our bathroom was flooded also there was yellow marks near the toilet so my partner went down to let them know, to which they said they were going to sort it out. Later in the evening when we arrived the bathroom was still flooded and the marks were still there. Small things like the carpet feeling dirty/sticky, bad quality mattress and there was no hairdryer but we did have tea and coffee as well as complimentary soap in the bathroom. I would give this a solid 4 out of 10, for £100+ a night I would expect a different approach to their guests."

"Loved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didn’t in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! The pub had a fab atmosphere, the food was lush and the cocktails were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again 💕❤️😍"
