this is a great hotel in a fantastic location.
food was excellent (although a little expensive), and the surroundings are lovely for walks along the islands many paths and parks. there's lots to do on the island, including sports and entertainment. you can even hire bikes and buggies from the hotel -although it's not cheap. I didn't use any of the Spa facilities but from what I saw, they looked to be excellent -2 indoor pools, and a smaller outdoor pool (the latter used mainly for cooling down rather than exercise)...I had an upper floor, Buda side aspect which was very quiet and you see the sunset...I imagine a lower floor room on the Pest side (facing the main entrance and access road) would not be as pleasurable . There is an amazing rain shower in the bathroom and a fridge/minibar so everything you need - I had a Premier Plus double room.
Finally, if you're here for the Sziget Festival as I was, it's an easy 40 minute walk to the festival entrance.
