"Our family of four adults enjoyed our stay at Villas Karalv. The owners lived right on the property and were very friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size, the bathroom on the small size. The A/C worked great. Water pressure is low but it worked out fine for us. "Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away. Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase. The person that let is us in did not explain the access to the beach facilities. Nor did she offer contact info...
