"The bed was comfy but not level so I kept sliding to the edge. The sperate toilet did not have a basin, but thereâs plenty room for one, so that was a thumbs down, as you canât wash your hands before opening the door, as the shower and sink were next door. Bit like public toilets, which is why I try not use them. Didnât get to use the pool again as too many people in there! As itâs quite small. Restaurant has nice food."

"We stayed one night on our way south. The hotelâs location is central. The whole setting of the Abbaye was wonderful and very unique. Breakfast by candlelight was delicious and atmospheric! As was the wine and champagne we enjoyed in the bar on the evening of our arrival. We also enjoyed a dip in the pool which was certainly welcome after a 13 hour drive from the Uk. The staff were all welcoming but a special thanks to Tibot who was not only helpful and attentive but extremely charming and friendly. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful start to our holiday and an insight into the charms of Beaune. We will return! Rubax"

"Beautiful property but we booked for the spa and the spa was not available due to staffing issues. It was very disappointing. Management tried to make our stay better but not before multiple hours/months spent getting the run around."

"A comfortable and fairly convenient option in Chalon-sur-Saone, The main restaurant areas are closer to the river so a bit of a walk, the staff were all very nice and the room was functional (no view, no frills) but clean and the bed was comfortable."
