"Well, I’ve never been in the motel six and this is the very first one there was and they’re independently owned so they very, but this was wonderful that even had a view of the ocean. Oh my goodness in Santa Barbara no less. I brought my chow chow and the staff in guest delight were enamored of her, so that’s always lovely. The hotel was uniformly, freshly painted and appointed and the staff was really gracious. It will definitely be my place to stay in Santa Barbara on my next trip."

"The re-model is very nice. Rooms are a little dark but that is the vibe. Bed was comfortable. State St side was a bit noisy but we were warned! Loved the bath products and the kettle/coffee set up were a nice touch. Front desk staff was very helpful. "
