"This was my first time in Turkey and we stayed about 9 days. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so close to everything. We walked almost everywhere: Hagia Sophia, Blue Dome Mosque, Basilica (which were 20 feet from the hotel), Grand Bazaar, and close by to restaurants that you did not have to use or pay for any transportation. (Avoid taxis at ALL costs, if you can). It is better to find one of the all day rental companies with the black vans and pay a set fee before you use the taxi. Also, the tram was cheap and quick. The staff were very nice at the hotel and the breakfast was very good. If you eat their breakfast, honestly, you won't need a lunch. They had such a good assortment of choices: soup, eggs, Turkish sausage, olives, yogurts, breads, fruit, veggies, and the CHEESES!!!! This hotel will pay for itself. The staff were helpful and all spoke English on some level. The hotel is not modern, but Istanbul is an old city. It was charming to stay at and the windows facing the street would open to let us get a cool breeze which I appreciated very much. The other room we got had a Juliette balcony which was an A+! The hotel provided us with a very user friendly map at check-in and it saved us so much time and helped us choose the places to visit. I read the posts from some of the other experiences after I made the reservation, but before we stayed here. I really can genuinely recommend this hotel for you and your family. Safe Travels."

"All staff was courteous and professional. The guys at reception were so helpful in answering all our questions and sharing information to help us navigate through the city. My room was cleaned thoroughly each day. I appreciate the lady’s work ethic. The spa provided me with just the right “pick me up.” I had reflexology first. Secondly, I had a massage, then sauna, steam room, and finally the bath. What a way to get re-energized. If you need a hotel on the Asian side, I highly recommend the Antwell."

"Good location! Near everything! Walking distance to KADIKOY shops & ferries! Fabulous Turkish style BUFFET BREAKFAST! Amazing & helpful staff! Especially HILAL & ERSIN! We were leaving at 3am so would miss breakfast, so they prepared and offered us fruit juice boxes and sandwiches to take with us. So thoughtful! Great a/c & good sized bathroom & comfy beds. It does need a little renovation - but that wasn’t important to us! Super pleased and looking forward to staying here again in the future!"
