We had an amazing experience with spa , incredible views and good breakfast. We received a bottle of local red wine as a VIP Expedia gift but free upgrades to room with a view on the lake was not available to us . The waiting staff were very friendly and the piano music in the evening felt very special . If the hotel provided coffee maker in the room it would make it even better.

Celebrated my birthday with friends at the hotel with a long spa weekend. Relatively easy to get to- Lugano Station has plenty of taxis or uber availability if you don't want to wait for the bus. All the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Beautiful views and a lovely spa. Treatments were also great. The Bar/Bistro was particularly nice to unwind in to have a drink and get food.

The hotel itself was good and looked taken care of. The view was indeed incredible and the spa was super nice. We booked a couple massage and it was very good as well. The breakfast was normal, although it lacked some healthy options. There was eggs, sausages, bacon… but a choice of 2 vegetables and simple avocado on toast were an extra for example. The restaurant (Radicci Gourmet) was terrible. The dishes were sent back to the kitchen almost untouched and the only good part of the meal was the focaccia. It was unacceptable for the price (approx. 150 francs with two cocktails), especially considering how close is Italy. The staff seemed tired and on hedge. There was no reaction after the dishes were sent back to the kitchen, just the bill… The cleaning was not up to the standard as well. We asked for the room to be cleaned and found that the staff only made the bed with old and dirty bedsheets. The mirror wasn’t cleaned, as well as the terrasse (which was quite dirty). My partner’s hair straightener was found lying on the floor. In general, if you avoid the hotel’s restaurant, this is a good place to stay but it could improve, especially for the price. Some aspects made the hotel look really cheap, for example allowing the customers to access the spa for free only the day after arrival…

This hotel was exceptional in accommodation and service. The view from the balcony was stunning. Unfortunately we were only there for a night and did not have a chance to use the spa services but look forward to returning for a longer stay
