"Overall, our stay was pleasant. The apartment with a canal view was very charming and was in a great location. There are only three negatives to mention. 1. Do not accept the pre-arranged water taxi offer. We had heavy bags and prebooked through them, thinking we would get a good deal. We severely overpaid. They charged 100 Euro (!) for a 10 minute ride, that still involved 5 minutes of walking. The overall walk was only 12 minutes. If you can’t make the walk, there are numerous water taxis...

"My party only stayed for 2 nights, so this apartment was adequate for our needs. There is only a/c in the bedroom and nowhere else, so we could not hang out in the living room. It was fine for us because we were pretty much gone all day. Beds were comfortable. Communication was challenging at times as we tried to arrange transportation to and from the airport, but all worked out in the end."

"I was rather concerned about the practice that the access code for the lock is sent out only at 3pm on the arrival day; for travelers without cellular service in Italy that is a worry, but we had wifi on the train, so everything worked out well. The only drawback is we had the attic apartment which has a (locked) door leading to the apartment below and from there you can hear every single conversion of the occupants and use of the kitchen.
