"Excellent hotel with beautiful bathroom. Great view. Helpful staff. My only complaint about the room is that we had two beds and one bedside table and lamp. Walking distance to the shopping complex and to the Esplanade. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops."
"There is nothing fancy about The Abbott - it provides accommodation. But it does that very well. The experience seems formulated on the expectation that guests will source all their meals externally, which is reasonable given the close proximity to a multitude of eating places. Also easy walk to the piers. Inside, the room was quiet and comfortable. Great shower, good array of complimentary toiletries. We enjoyed a Superior room with street frontage (room 201); would recommend trying to obtain this or similar if considering The Abbott."
