"We had a fantastic stay! Check in was extremely easy when you pre register before arriving. I did not see any staff on site but they communicated very well through text. I really appreciated the complementary amenities inside of the room. Even the stocked water bottles would have added money to your bill at other hotels if you used them. We used the breakfast vouchers for Calistoga Roastery in the morning. It is a short walk and they had great coffee and bagels. Also within walking distance were gas stations, restaurants, bars, etc. will definitely stay here again. "

"We spent five nights in the Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery cottage for our honeymoon. The staff was amazing! We were surprised by how quiet it was. There was live music on the patio and we couldn’t hear it from where our cottage was located. There was some street noise, but you get that anyplace you stay. We had our own private courtyard that was well shaded and had two lounge chairs and a small table. Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery is so conveniently located. We walked every morning to get coffee and breakfast at a wonderful coffee shop, walked to most of the restaurants and wineries that we went to in town, but very drivable to those that are out of the city limits. Upon checkout we asked to see the rooms upstairs and they were very accommodating. The rooms were nice and I don’t think it would be uncomfortable sharing the bathrooms. The only change I would make to our stay is that it would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in our room as anything we brought back to the room had to be eaten or thrown away. Would definitely recommend! "

"My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The manager, Nelva, was extremely courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. You can hear a little traffic from the highway but not bad at all. The place is surrounded by vineyards and mountains in the distance. And as someone who does most of the cooking, it was very nice to have someone else cook for a change (both breakfasts were delicious)! About a mile from downtown Calistoga and several local wineries, Chateau De Vie is a gem! A better experience than almost any hotel or resort we’ve stayed at in 15 years. We highly recommend it and won’t bother looking for a different place the next time we visit Calistoga! "

"Such a great, relaxing experience. This is an older property but very, very well maintained. Dining and shopping all within walking distance. The spas and mineral pool were awesome. We were upgraded at arrival which was a very nice perk. All in all the perfect, relaxing experience we were looking for. Will definitely be back!!!"
