"We arrived at 3:00 PM (check in was at 4) we were told that our room was ready and completed the full check in process. However, they would not give us a room key until 4 unless we agreed to a $50 charge. I told them to pound sand. Not a nice way to run a business. Over the years, we have stayed at various Best Western properties more than 50 times. "

"Overall I was content the stay with the cute ambiance, clean room, and convenient location. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub because the water had a green tint so wasn’t sure if it was over chlorinated or the pool was dirty. The room was recently remodeled but the AC unit didn’t seem to be updated. It was about 90 degrees in Calistoga during my stay, so I turned on the AC.
