"I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money. "

"Voor bed & breakfast is het ideaal. Alles is netjes en schoon (en nieuw). Het is geen 2 minuten afstand van snelweg. Er zat (nog) geen koelkast in het kamer. Hotel was net 2 dagen open, misschien zetten ze later nog een koelkast. "

"We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful chateaux after finishing up our cruise. The romantic room was gorgeous! Very comfortable bed, beautiful river view. I wish the menu had been bigger but the food was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Matthias and Emilie were very gracious hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful animals were immediately our friends. We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. "We were greeted by Maxim, who took great care to show us around, explain things, take us to our room etc. We had 3 nights of peace and quiet and access to the beautiful pool. Lucie looked after us splendidly for our first breakfast & I can't begin to tell you how impressed were with our quarters. Being just 10 rooms, it's geared for relaxation & a little luxury. While we were happy with all food options, I suspect the lack of prepared cooked food for dinner, may be not to everyone's liking. But Bordeaux is just a few minutes away by car if so desired. As I said, we loved our 3 night stay & have already told friends & relatives that they should stay there if the opportunity arises. "

"We travelled 4 weeks through France. From Paris to St Tropez and back to Bordeaux and stayed at 8 hotels (all 5Star) This was our favourite by far. The personal touches, the amazing staff and the Chateau itself are all impeccable. Antony without prompting arranged our dinner and lunches as well as wine tasting locally. Nothing was too difficult and everyone from breakfast service to evening drink service couldn’t be more delightful. This will be our first stop on our next trip. "

"We woke up late and missed breakfast. We asked the lady serving breakfast if it was too late and she kindly prepared us a breakfast just for us. She was so friendly and helpful. Her service was above and beyond and we can't thank her enough. Réception was also very friendly. Id recommend this hotel purely for the servive. Only negative was the air con in the room which was 26c all night."
