Our room had an amazing view over Lake Burley Griffin and Parliament House. The main room had an ensuite and then we had a large bathroom this was great for 3 adults.

Mouldy Smelly apartment
After checking in we went to the room on the 11th floor - upon opening the door the strong smell of stale cigarette smell in the first thing that hits you, walking through the apartment was so disappointing- marks on the walls, mouldy shower curtain, marks on the walls, you couldn’t sit outside on the balcony as it was filthy We advised the front desk, and the response was housekeeping wasn’t available on Sundays!! Tried to explain that husband had a double lung transplant and mould is hazardous to his health. But it fell on deaf ears.. do not stay here

The support was fantastic and the 2 bedroom unit was huge with amazing views. Some road noise at night but all in all it was a great place. Very few places open for dinner nearby but that’s not on the venue. Thank you for our stay.

We were attending a conference in the hotel next door so shared a three bedroom apartment. It was spacious well appointed and clean. Access was very secure and although not aware there was additional cost, I was glad to be able to have my car parked underneath as we had no need for it. The only downsides were that we had to wait 45 mins for our room to be ready and also due to construction work being done next door, there was noise disturbance through the night. Overall a great location and value for money.

We paid for a 2 bedroom lake view apartment. We were put on level 1 with no view except oleander trees no view at all of the lake. Ordered room service the first night when it came it was cold and tasted terrible. Very disappointed won’t stay there again

I have looked into your stay and can see we were fully booked for the stay, but our team always try to ensure we are allocating people onto the higher floors whenever possible.We're also sorry to hear you did not enjoy your room service, this is a service we provide in partnership with our sister hotel just across the road from us, so we will need to look into what happened for your meal.We do hope you can return in future, and have an experience more in line with the standard we hold ourselves to.Kind regards,

The bath was too high and very hard to get into, the air conditioner was not working properly as it got very cold at times. But overall we found the room to be clean very comfortable and large.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and found it not very clean. Majority of the power points and light switches are damaged the heaters in the kids bedrooms didnt work. Tbh we got the night on a deal cheap but wouldnt pay the rates they charge standard for what you get. The staff are really friendly and helpful this was the only upside

The hotel was poorly maintained and FILTHY. Beds were made up with sheets that were too small (Queen sheet on king-size bed) and one had a mattress protector on half the bed only. We expected this would be rectified for our second night but it wasn’t… On checkout I requested a caIl back from management (the reception staff were apologetic but clearly had no influence on housekeeping) but have not had any response. I would NOT recommend this property.

The property is old and very dated, which doesn’t bother me, but it was dirty also. I’m sure the cleaner has NEVER set foot on either of the balconies The mug were dirty and very stained from what looks like years of being used and not cleaning Not enough blankets for the cold weather

The property was good to stay, the one thing was the admin person who did our check in was very friendly and helpful. I had my exam and had reached pretty early to check in,she understood and gave me the room without making me wait.

I booked this hotel as a treat for my son but this turned out to be the worst experience I've ever encountered. I'd emailed them to advise of his details but when he came to check in, they insisted that I would have to present with my ID and credit card details (which is a first in all my years of travel with Wotif). Trying to reason with receptionist over the phone was impossible and I had to make a round trip of 80kms to go to the hotel. Face to face was just as bad - the receptionist was rude, antagonistic, and unrelenting with her attitude. Denied receiving my email and blamed me for using capital letters with their email address!! It was the correct address by the way. Asked for refund but said (with a smirk) I'd have to talk to the manager in "a few days". Had no option but had to continue with check-in. My son wanted to give a fair review of the room but it was dirty, cobwebs everywhere and had dead bugs on the sofa. Saving grace was the bed which son he said was comfortable. Netflix and Foxtel did not work (connection issues). Really bad experience and hotel have grossly overvalued their accommodation and thoroughly underestimated the value of good customer service. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
