"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The owners, a husband and wife, are lovely. We opted for the dinner both nights (breakfast was included) and all the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!"
"Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. "A beautiful place on a gorgeous white sand beach. It’s a bit of a hike to get to the nearest village (kabira) so get your international drivers license and rent a car, or prepare to wait for the bus and take some cabs if you plan to leave."
"Very isolated place and old style . If you are solo not ideal and also need a car for sure as infrequent buses and little communication on this in the property . Nothing around - the hotel cafe closed and was not notified before I booked. This is more like an isolated Airbb . It’s a nice cottage inside but no front Sesk or cafe There is a cafe nearby but instant coffee and spam - place nearby is the “ beer terrace “ but also not open much . Overall I would not recommend at all and I had to move out after a day due to the challenges . Looks neglected "
