"Perfect Experience. Staff at reception when we arrived was super nice. She went out of her way to help us with plates and lighter (as we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday), so was super happy with her. Same for breakfast, we were only 2 people in that hotel for that night (due to off season) but had full menu prepared for breakfast. Which says a lot about the standard this hotel is maintaining. "The hotel itself is great, right by the boat and train and it is charming. But be warned - they tell you that the only dinner option is a buffet but they don’t post how much it is. And it is $80 USD per person! Definitely not worth it, although there are few dining options in Flåm. After dinner we were given a bill with multiple tip options- the only place I have seen that in Norway. So a charming hotel but you feel scammed with the dining. "
