"A lovely property in a very quiet area right next to a lake. The staff where amazing, very kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet hotel in the Haliburton area. 5 star rating from me."

"The exterior of the building does not look like a hotel at all but we were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room. The room was spacious, although the position of the second bed was awkward. It was clean and has everything we wanted. Because it was an old building, the room was not level as we could see the uneven gap between the bathroom door and the floor. The bathroom door could not close properly as a result. Bed was comfortable, fridge worked well. Bathroom was spacious. Keurig coffee machine. Microwave and fridge. "

"The cottage was old, but well-equiped, comfortable and spacious. There are two negative aspects: 1. proximity to the road so that it was noisy at times; 2. cleanliness was generally good though we collected a lot of sand when we swept the floors and the toilet seat had not been throughly cleaned."
