"The staff speaks English; they were kind and helpful. The breakfast selection was the best we had on a three week trip. Location is excellent although on a very busy street so the noise level is not peaceful. Closing the doors helps because the glass is soundproofed. The hotel is beautifully renovated although our room with balcony was tiny! "

"We stayed in this hotel to discover the center of La spezia and cinque terre. As soon as we entered, we received a warm welcome from John at reception, he was exceptional very friendly and helpful! He gave us recommendations for good restaurants, kept our luggage after checkout and made our stay enjoyable:) The hotel is very close to the beach and ferries, many dining options nearby! It was easy to get around. Super clean and the staff are very friendly, I recommend!"

"A fantastic hotel. A lot of money has been spent renovating it to a high standard. Our room was excellent with an amazing view over the town. The breakfast was generally good, but the hot choices did not have warmers under them and were therefore cold! The receptionists were super helpful with check-in and guiding us to the underground car park. As it is an old hotel, there is more than one lift. The one we used was quirky and tiny - only fitting 2 people with 2 cases."
