Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. My only complaint is that the hotel lacks a front desk staff. We checked in with the housekeeper because there was no one working the front desk. The hotel has no staff available until late in the evening. It is helpful to have a front desk staff 24 hours to accommodate all the guests. Several times we were going out and found people outside waiting for someone to open the door. This is not good business practice.

La ubicación es inmejorable, Justo en el centro del barrio de Getsemani. También su personal fue muy amable y servicial. Algo en lo que les hace falta mejorar es la limpieza de la habitaciónes, cuando llegamos había basura en uno de lo cajones y jabón abierto en la regadera.

Sweet safe boutique hotel

This sweet boutique hotel is in a great central location in the city, walking distance to local & fine restaurants, as well as touristy things. Very clean with an awesome rooftop patio. I would give this place a 0 if I could. They cancelled our reservation at the last minute and failed to let us know. We showed up at the hotel, after dark, but well before the end of check-in time and they told us that they gave our room to someone else. The poor guy at the desk was trying to be helpful but management would not get involved. Worse yet, the did not refund our money. So they left us in centre of the old city, with no room, yet they still took our money. Luckily, Expedia protected us, and paid for a very nice room in Bocagrande. Not the location we chose, but we were able to have a great trip. I have travelled extensively in Latin America and generally chose boutique hotels. This was the first time in my travels that I have been ripped off significantly. If it wasn't for Expedia this trip would have cost me about 5x over budget and I might have been left in the middle of Cartagena without a place to sleep. Just to review. They gave our room to someone else, who offered more money, did not refund us for the money we had spent months ago to book the room. Also, management disappeared and allowed a young man to deal with us. I did feel bad for the service staff as this was not their fault. There are plenty of great hotels in this amazing city. Pick another one. Unless you want to pay for a room you don't use

This hotel was almost perfect in every way. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were nice and clean. It’s on a very beautiful street and has a nice pool as well. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars was because the WiFi went down and wasn’t fixed for 3 days. As a foreigner, I used the WiFi to FaceTime audio my family and I had to go out places and spend money in order to talk to them when it went down. Besides that, it was excellent! I will definitely be staying here again!

It was an OK property. Nice location. No hot water and the shower had no pressure. Breakfast was nothing special with very limited choices. I had booked the hotel car to pick us up from the airport. We waited for good half hour and finally a guy with a young kid showed up in a very run down car that was parked a block away. I would not recommend this property.

NEED IMPROVEMENTS

To be a Boutique Hotel you have to separate your self from other you have to be unique, The room was not ready when arrived , no toilet paper no shampoo . I reported a water leak by the light in the bathroom and was never repaired. The right privacy blind up and down mechanism was broken. The breakfast was simple and not boutiqueky enough. They need a lot of help and improvements to be call Hotel Boutique. THE ONLY GREAT THING WAS THE PRIVACY AND THE LOCATION WAS FABULOUS.

Hermosa casa pero le falta mantenimiento en el baño y el aire acondicionado q hace ruido. Hay un hueco en el techo del baño y entra la lluvia, el agua es fría y la tapa del inodoro rota, no hay shampoo, lo demás perfecto, sobre todo atención del personal y buen desayuno,

Hola. El hotel tiene una ubicación perfecta, barrio tranquilo y cercano a Plaza Trinidad, excelente. De la habitación no me gustó el sanitario poque tenía problemas y no lo solucionaron. El desayuno muy pobre y no está acorde al hotel ni al lugar donde este se encuentra. El personal bastante bien. Regresaría si mejoran sustancialmente el desayuno y mejoran el sanitario.

Arrived at the hotel to find it had been overbooked and the deluxe room we reserved was taken. We were given a smaller room but not reimbursed for the loss of money. This happened to ALL the other guests so it’s clearly a scam the hotel do. Rooms smell mouldy, pool is not a pool it’s a pond not for swimming, air conditioner doesn’t work, desk never attended, breakfast ran out every morning. Better stay somewhere else

A notre arrivée notre chambre n'etait pas disponible, nous avons ete relogés dans un autre hotel d'un niveau trés trés infrerieur et de surcroit placé au 1er etage d'une rue extrémement bruyante toute la nuit . Nous n'avons absolument pas pu dormir durant cette nuit , et avons demandé à etre remboursés de ce declassement totalement inacceptable .
