"The bathroom tiles need to be cleaned. The room need curtains instead of just blinds. There is no refrigerator in the room. The outside light can't be turned off. The bathtub is old. In general, overrated for the price."

"The room and service was great. My only complaint is that is very difficult to unload and unload. Both myself and my 3vyear old grandaughter fell in rocks on sidewalks before we could make it to the room. There was nothing to load luggage on. We had 4 kids so it was multiple trips. It is difficult to get to rooms due to lots of steps, rocks and blocked areas close to water park. It was pouring when we left and we got soaked because of the distance to the room and inability to pull up closer to entrance. The rides back and forth to destinations on golf carts were amazing. The breakfast was excellent and so reasonable. The older lady who waited on us was the best waitress ever. She was so friendly and the kids loved her. Food at the LandShark was not good and overpriced for the quality. The Waterpark was nice though a $5 discount is not much if you are staying there. Great Wolf Waterpark is FREE if you are a guest. The kids enjoyed the pizzeria the arcade and bowling as well. Overall it was a good time once we got into the room."

"I wanted to love it...I come to LO all the time and had never heard of this place. The listing showed tons of amenities... However the pictures looked way better than the actual property. Now that being said, it was the beginning of the season so maybe they just havent been able to fix everything yet...but...they were mid construction of something by the bar area...there was no "coffee shop" as the listing said, and no "multiple resterants"...several things it showed in the picture were not there,....the blow up trampoline, kayaks, pedal bike, and jet skis were not unwinterized yet...I also thought i was getting a water view and was so sad to find i was stuck in one of the only 2 cabins without a water view. Also, it seemed maybe the crowd here is for an older audience.. bummer. oh, And.l..there is not light to do your makeup anywhere near a mirror, or an outlet near a mirrror to do your hair..."

"Checking in was a nightmare. When we arrived we found out that they no longer have staff on site. Check in is done via a QR code on the door of the vending machine/ ice machine room where I assume the office used to be. We had received no information from the property managers for a door code or room assignment number, and having never stayed there assumed it would be given to us when we arrived like most hotels. Having no one there to help us we proceeded to call the phone number on the door to contact the property management. Calls went immediately to voice mail and we would receive a text several minutes later. The initial text said we should have received a text or email with our room number and door code, but we never received either. When I explained we had made the reservation through Hotels.com we were eventually texted a room number and door code. However this room was occupied. I sent a text back and the reply asked who was texting them even though we had just corresponded through text. We were assigned another room which was also occupied. We were eventually assigned an unoccupied room after almost 45 minutes after we had arrived. The room itself was clean, however the wall switch for the fan in the bathroom was off with exposed wires and there was no chain on the door. Unless they can sort out their booking procedures and keep accurate information on which rooms are booked and which rooms are not, I would not recommend staying at this hotel."
