"This is an excellent little hotel, pet friendly, a very short drive or cheap Uber away from Tavira. As others have remarked, it is not suitable for anyone wishing to walk in the immediate area due to the busy roads and lack of pedestrian access to countryside. We found the staff to be unfailingly kind and courteous, going out of their way to assist. The room was spacious with a balcony and everything one could reasonably expect at this price point, including coffee maker/ hot water dispenser ( pods from reception for a modest charge) and fridge.The air conditioning was efficient and adjustable. There was an extensive choice at breakfast, including hot and cold dishes, good cakes and pastries and a variety of milks such as soy and almond. The white coffee from the machine was unpleasant to our tastes, but was easily solved by microwaving milk of choice and using the separate espresso machine. There is a separate grill restaurant/ takeaway on site serving a good range of dishes at reasonable prices. It was well patronised by locals. The fumes from grilling were unwelcome at times depending on wind direction. The infinity pool was clean and scrupulously maintained. Towels were free of charge. Chairs and loungers available poolside. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as being of excellent value."

"No airport shuttle, however, taxi from airport is easy and inexpensive. Nice hotel, great breakfast, excellent coffee, staff very kind and helpful to a weary traveler!"

"We arrived near to midnight due to our late flight time and the reception arrival was still warm and welcoming. We were glad to be able to have a kettle and bottled water booked to our room bill as we enjoy an evening mint tea. Our room was on the same floor as the pool which was very appreciated as we made the most of this fabulous area every day. The daily breakfast had wide choice of fresh fruit : some cold meat and cheese: yoghurts jams and bread rolls; there was sliced bread and a hot option of bacon, boiled/fried or scrambled eggs and mini sausages, mushrooms and beans. A couple of evenings we made use of the lounge television showing some of the live football while enjoying a lovely gin and tonic from the hotel bar. All the staff interactions were very friendly and receptive ; they were always as helpful with their advise or suggestions "

"one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.everything was wonderful. BUT the hotel correctly notified us that we had to check out for real at noon because of an incoming wedding party. Which is fine, But it did not tell us in advance that we would have to off the property at noon. In the past I sould alwasy stay at the health club until my flight. instead I spent 4.5 not very pleasant hours in the main hall of the airport, with my luggage keeping me anchored. The hotel is well within its rights to kick us out at the check out time, but should have warned us."
