"Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Rooms are large and modern. Only downside was the pool. But overall a fabulous unusual place to stay in a lovely town"
"A top hotel in a great location. Fantastic views on the beachfront and easy walk to everything in town and at the marina. Super staff was helpful throughout our stay."
"Nearly everything at the Palacio was pitch perfect. The staff are amazing; they never refused an accommodation, no matter how ususual. Breakfasts are served from 7:30 to 10:30 am, a full three hours. Access to the Banyan Tree sauna/steam rooms/jacuzzi pool are included in the experience at no extra cost. Naturally, no hotel is perfect, however, and even the Palacio could make a few improvements. Among these, I believe the hotel should expand the number and variety of cable/TV channels to something approaching that of comparable hotels found in the US or UK; I also think the bathrooms should updated to include safety hand bars in the bath tubs as well as more towel racks; finally, the hotel should install a new elevator in the lobby (at present, there are only two, and during our recent two-week stay, one of those two was not running at all). Apart from these minor annoyances, we loved our time there, and hope to return. We would give the Palacio our very strongest recommendation."
"We stayed at this hotel for a week for a family wedding which took place at a nearby venue, with the welcome event for guests taking place at Eurostars hotel.
All the staff at this hotel are amazing!
From the reception manager Victor right the way through to reception staff, catering staff and cleaning staff.
They are all very friendly and helpful and everything we needed or requested was dealt with extreme efficiency.
There were a lot of children in our party and even though the hotel doesn’t have specific play areas or facilities especially for kids, the staff were all so helpful and attentive to their needs etc.
What really stood out for us was on the day of the wedding, whilst looking after the young page boy and flower girls and in charge of getting them to the wedding venue.
The reception team noticed that all the other guests had left for the wedding in their taxis and ours did not arrive. Reception staff Luz and Erica promptly ordered 2 replacement taxis for all of us but unfortunately there was a delay on the second taxi’s arrival and without hesitation Erica told us she would be driving us herself to the wedding venue and promptly went to the car park and collected her own car to get us to the wedding in time. In the meantime the second taxi arrived so Erica didn’t need to take us in the end.
Thank you all again so much for everything. We really appreciated your concern and we all made it just in time to the beautiful wedding."
"This hotel is conveniently located near the marina with the resort centre just 10 minutes walk away.
There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel had a fab beach bar.
The hotel itself was clean and the staff very helpful. The pool area was perfect. Lots of sun loungers. Towels available for use if required. The room itself was large and ours had a small kitchenette which was helpful.
We loved this hotel and the resort of cascais even more. I would choose this hotel again and definitely recommend."
