"Beautiful older hotel in excellent walkable location downtown Halifax. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I travelled with my wife and three children so we rented two rooms. They were spacious and clean. No valet parking but the parking garage was conveniently located. The only issue was the elevators which seemed to take a long time. A small inconvenience but that would not stop up from coming back!"

"Everything was good during our stay. The M club and Harbourstone food was amazing. The best part was that the property is right on the boardwalk, so taking a stroll or sitting harbour side is as simple as stepping outside the door of your hotel. There wasn't a thing I didn't like! Lovely place."

"We stayed in a Crown Queen room. Check- in was quick but thorough details about amenities were provided. They even gave us a map of things to see/do in Halifax. Hotel location was close to all we wanted to see & we could easily drive to the waterfront. We enjoyed our accommodations that we extended our stay. Patrick was very helpful with finding us another room. Staff @ breakfast were attentive yet efficient. Food offerings were excellent. My son enjoyed the pool. Only issue was parkade elevator was broken & I had a large suitcase that I had to drag up all the stairs from the lowest level of the garage. However I noticed it was fixed within a couple hours. After whale watching in Digby, we are closing off our NS trip back at this hotel ✨ Looking fwd to our stay"

"We absolutely loved this hotel on our last night in Halifax! It was immaculate all round, the room was beautiful with 2 gorgeous chandeliers, fine bedding linens, very comfy pillows, extremely clean, modern with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a view of the city. I loved the fact that all the bath products were L'Occitaine...great choice. We felt really pampered staying here and it was in a great location where we could walk to everything nearby. The concierge was lovely and helped look after our luggage and was super friendly to deal with. Sutton Place left a lasting impression!"

"Pros -Great breakfast and pre-dinner (530pm) snacks (lots of variety). -Bed very comfortable -I usually wake up in hotels, but we didn't hear anything in the hallway, we were at the end of the hallway away from the elevator. -Nice cool temp - it was hot outside. -Close walking distance, but also the UBER came right to the door. -Right beside the Citadel -Checkout at noon - usually 11 in most areas. -Nice to have a kitchen to store/reheat food. Cons -Breakfast done at 930, a bit early, but I was able to bring food up to the room to people who were sleeping. -The parking is not in the building, more of a "need to know", unload everything to the lobby then take the car to park. Same on checkout, bring everything to the lobby, then go get the car. Overall a great stay."
