"Clean room with adjustable heating controls. Good refreshment tray with water, biscuits and chocolates which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was delicious with great choice. "

"If i had to round it up into two words it would be Great Value Nothing really bad to say about this hotel its got great facilities with the gym and spa the food was great both the food we got at the bar and the breakfast and all great value would really recommend the food here. As for staff they were all really nice and friendly any isues and they were resolved straight away. The location is unbeatable if you are visiting the NEC and Resorts world definitely the hotel of choice for my party next time we visit the area"

"The Castle itself is tired. We stayed in one of the outhouses which were perfect. "

"Breakfast was buffet style, but first morning everything was cold, second day it was luke warm. Toaster was so slow people gave up. They do have evening meals but almost everything was off the menu, better off ordering a delivery. Noise overnight from traffic, roadworks and even helicopters overhead was enough to ensure we didnt sleep very well. Staff were mostly helpful but could have done more."

"Unacceptable. Mattresses are completely beyond their end of life. Booked two rooms and both were the same, one mattress literally had a spring coming out of it and poking into the sheet. The other had springs that would jab into your sides and crunched every time you moved. Asked for a second duvet so we could lie on top of it for extra padding, which never arrived. Car parking is extortionate at £10 per night. Many other areas in the room that are shabby a need upgrading, too many to list. Staff in the morning were apologetic and said that new beds are “on order” but didn’t seem to engage with the suggestion to buy mattress toppers for the guests in the meantime. Absolutely not a 3 star stay as advertised on Hotels.com. So for now, avoid!"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, pet friendly, room was clean and basic could of done with new mattresses as could feel springs, bathroom could do with bit revamping as black mould on grouting in shower looked very tired, but I would stay here again no problem great little place "
