El Terado Terrace

10/10 Excellent

"housekeeping staff was friendly and kept the rooms and outside areas very clean! The room we had was spacious, with a large refrigerator as part of the kitchen. We were facing the harbor, with a nice view out the window or off the porch walkway. The front steps to the street could use some lighting for safer walking, but all else was well-lit. A comfortable lodging at a reasonable price!"

The Pavilion Hotel

8/10 Good

"This hotel was beautiful and helped my family experience at relaxing stay at Catalina Island. One of my favorite things was the free wine glass during happy hour and the beautiful courtyard. The only reason why I am not rating this hotel a 5 start is due to a confusing uncomfortable experience my family and I had one of the team members (Stacey). During happy hour my child was with me and Stacey kept calling out my son and asking him to not touch the door, to sit down, to be careful, etc. My son was not touching anything or doing anything other than looking around/walking around because he is a kid. He is well behaved, he was just walking around therefore, I found her interaction with my son frustrating and decided to go back to my hotel room. Then the next day there was a huge event in the courtyard (hosted by people that booked a couple of rooms) . Kids were running, playing, and screaming around and Stacey was on her shift again, I sow her pass by, and I did not once hear her tell any of the children anything. I was a it confused about this given that she was on my child the previous day. My family and I are people of color and the family that hosted the event the next day were white. I couldn't help but feel discriminated. I would love to stay in this hotel again however, I would suggest for staff to correct their behavior and make sure to treat all of their guests exactly the same, regardless of the color of their skin."

Hotel Metropole

10/10 Excellent

"The morning breakfast was simple but nice. The location was wonderful and the Metropole Marketplace had a cute tourist and coffee shop as well as a bowling alley that served food and a hotdog and hamburger place. The staff was helpful and proactively asked if we needed any advise regarding the island. The only critique I would have would be that the AC was kind of loud and had to be set very low to keep running. Fortunately my wife and I like it cool to sleep."

Zane Grey Pueblo Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Que buen servicio, hospitalidad y tranquilidad, las mejores vistas desde tu habitación y descansar de la mejor manera. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇨🇴 What a good service, hospitality and tranquility, the best views from your room and rest in the best way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇨🇴"

Catalina Island Inn

8/10 Good

"The place is old but kept clean. However the main carpet area is so dirty that my husband’s feet were black just running downstairs just to grab more towels. It’s definitely needs a deep clean. However the place is centrally located. Our room was clean, the a\c worked perfectly, the view was great and it was quiet. Ana the staff were all friendly. One issue was the wifi was spotty. It kept coming in and out and so did the tv."
